With photolab6, I could not do batches that easily. With pureraw2 it was easy to bulk process the whole batch, go have a snack, and when I came back they were all in lightroom waiting for final edits. DxO Pure Raw 2 - Deep Prime: Software reviewDisclaimerI was not paid by DxO to produce this product review and I paid for my own copy of the software. I should have said I can go back and forth pretty easily with one file.īut after a football game I will have 40-100 shots I want to keep. I guess I need to dive deeper into my plug-in setup. I'll be home in April and give it a good run on my 27" screen.

I have not done or won't do any serious testing because I hate doing on my 14" laptop, even if is is Retina. Someone else said they were testing it for PS and it is already in PS neural filter wait list. The only reason I'm sure is someone on another forum said they were testing AI NR beta for LrC. I can always turn lens sharpening off with PR2 if needed. DXO did add some lens sharpening control. I really have to think about this upgrade because PR is pretty expensive for what you get.

I did trial later versions including PL6. I may even purchase pureraw just for the ease of use if I can not find a better way in and out of photolab. I am probably missing something- computers are not my strong suit- but is there an easy way to move from lightroom to photolab back to lightroom? I always end up having tomanually reimport into lightroom.

I found it much easier to go back and forth from lightroom with pureraw. It looks like your installation is not correct. I’m using PL6 and I have no problem to return back to LR (DNG nor Tiff).
